So I've pretty much had it with the arbitrary application of these so-called "Community Guidelines." There are accounts that blatantly flout these "guidelines" with no repercussions, while the ones who do their best to stay within the prescribed boundaries (and I know more than a few) get flagged, suspended, or eventually deleted.
I have no problems following rules, but when the application & enforcement of said rules is ... inconsistent... from post to post, from account to account, the best option I find is to remove myself from the cat-and-mouse, crossing of fingers, hoping that your latest post isn't going to be flagged, shadow-banned, or banned outright.
With that in mind, I've decided that, just as with the rest of my life, doing my own thing is the way to go - so all posts will henceforth be here on my own blog. Some posts may duplicate what I have already put up elsewhere. They may be mirrored on the more popular platforms... or maybe not. Time will tell how things work out. Hopefully you'll stick around to find out, but however things go, I'll be right here... Comments are always welcome!
